On Wednesday, on Apr 19, 2023, the Pentagon's lead investigator of UFO incidents informed Congress that his office is currently examining 650 cases, none of which have shown signs of extraterrestrial origin. The unusual open congressional hearing on Unexplained Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs), as they are referred to by the Pentagon, featured the release of two new videos. These were intended to demonstrate the capabilities and limitations of the newly formed All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) in explaining certain incidents. He emphasized, 'Only a very small percentage of UAP reports exhibit characteristics that could justifiably be labeled as 'anomalous.''
